Already, that was quick!

So, it was only yesterday I was saying maybe in a few weeks it’ll be ready and done and available for download! I lied, I worked all day on this with a quick visit to town for a meet with a friend for coffee in between but otherwise I spend hours getting it all finished in it’s layout and I’m 100% happy with it!

Colourful Mittens that can be made in the flat and round. Full written instructions for both fingerless mittens and includes a chart for straight mittens. They work in traditional stranded colourwork techniques with single coloured thumb. Cuffs and edgings are in 2×2 ribbing. Knitted in traditional natural colourways but can be knitted in any standard DK knitting yarn to the tension specified.

(M) Main Shade Sirdar Click DK, Grey 1 50g ball
(C) Contrast Shade Teddy Vanguard DK, Cream 1 100g ball

22 sts by 28 rows or rnds to 10cm, (4in) on 4mm needles.

3¼mm (UK10 -USA3) Knitting Needles
4mm (UK8 -USA6) Knitting Needles.

3¼mm (UK10 -USA3) Circular Knitting Needle or Needles
4mm (UK8 -USA6) Circular Knitting Needle or Needles.

Stitch Holder can be used for both verison of mittens.


Width around hand – 19 22cm, (7½ 8¾in).
